[ASKKPOP] Jung Kyung Ho discusses the difficulties of acting as a serial killer for upcoming thriller movie 'Manhole'

ActorJung Kyung Horevealed the difficulties he faced when playing the role of a serial killer as well as his thoughts on acting with two charming actresses,Jung Yoo MiandKimSae Ron, during a recent press conference for the upcoming thriller movie, 'Manhole.'


The actor revealed that he had been concerned about his role as Soo Chul, a serial killer, because it was a character he had never come across before and someone who should not even exist in real life.  He also had concerns about portraying someone who lived in a manhole.  He said,"Three months before going into filming, the director and I spoke a lot about how to create the character Soo Chul. But as soon as I went into filming and saw the set, wore the outfit, and did the make up, I immediately got the feel of it."



He also revealed the reasons he had chosen such a mentally straining role as a serial killer.  He said, "After I received the script, I chose it because the content was the first to handle this subject matter. I also watched the short films done by the director and I knew that he had gotten a good response at the Mis En Scene movie short film festival. But more than anything, I liked the chance to act with Jung Yoo Mi and Kim Sae Ron."

When asked about the most difficult moment he faced during filming, Jung Kyung Ho answered, "I wanted to do something that I'd never done before. However, I felt really bad when I was acting out a scene in which I hit a woman who went in the bathtub. I thought that I wouldn't be able to do it again. At the time, I felt horrible and hated it."

Meanwhile, the 2014 thriller movie, 'Manhole,' starring Jung Kyung Ho, child actress Kim Sae Ron, and Jung Yoo Mi will be premiering in theaters on October 8th!
