[ASKKPOP] Jung Yoo Mi reveals why she doesn't appear on variety shows + her weight loss due to filming

During a recent interview, actressJung Yoo Mi revealed why she prefers to stay away from variety shows as well as her unintentional weight loss. The actress said, "There are fun ones, but more than me not wanting to, the timing wasn't really right.

She continued, "For me, if it hinders the movies or the dramas that I'm filming, then I won't appear on variety shows. I think if I was able to enjoy myself then I would be willing to appear in one or two, but there weren't many times when I was in the right condition to do so.

The actress also stated that there are personal sides of her that she would want to keep hidden from the public's eyes and expressed that she is just not cut out for the variety show environment.

Jung Yoo Mi said, "In variety shows, I have to show a personal side of me. It's different for everyone, but for me, if I appear differently than the roles that I'm playing [in dramas] then I feel like others would think it was odd. I'm usually a very clumsy person, but I don't like that side of me. If I just don't go on variety shows, I can hide that side."

After filming the hit drama series 'Discovery of Love', Jung Yoo Mi jumped right into filming the thriller movie 'Man Hole'. It was clear during the interview that the filming and the rigorous schedule had taken a toll on her body as she was much thinner than usual.

The actress said, "Even when I did eat a lot, I lost weight because I would spend all night filming. I try to eat a lot. I feel like right now, I don't look like myself. I'm too skinny. I didn't weigh myself yet, but usually when I finish a drama, I weigh around 42-43kg (~92 - ~93lbs).

Jung Yoo Mi revealed that she just wants to rest as of now as well as her thoughts on her future projects. She said, "I want to rest without doing anything or saying anything. Then, when I do have some strength, there are a lot of movies that I didn't watch, so I want to go to the theaters alone and watch a movie in peace.

She continued, "Right now, I feel like I can take on anything. When I achieve something that I thought I start having the 'Come at me, I can take on anything' attitude. Rather than wanting to do a certain piece, right now I just think that even if I was given something that I didn't want to do, I do have an idea of how I would want to express it. I'm slowly looking around."
