The entertainer was banned from appearing on all three public broadcasting stations (KBS, SBS, and MBC) in 2014 after he was sentenced to six months in prison with one year’s probation for illegal gambling.

After a two-year hiatus, Tak Jae Hoon made his return to the Korean entertainment industry in 2016 on channels like Mnet and Channel A. In the same year, his ban was lifted from MBC (he appeared on “Radio Star” in April) and SBS (he appeared in a pilot episode in July).
