Kim Na Young will be parting ways with her husband.

On January 29, Kim Na Young personally announced the news of her divorce through a video on her YouTube channel.

She said, “The entire trust I placed in my husband has been broken and I can no longer be with him. I’m trying to start a new life with my two sons.”

She continued, “I’m scared and fearful about having to raise my two sons by myself, but I’m trying to gather courage since I’m a mother. Thanks to the people I’m grateful for who gave me courage while I went through a difficult time, I was able to move to a small home. There, I will work hard to live each and every day with my two kids.”

Kim Na Young’s agency IOK Company’s TNT entertainment division said, “As she stated through her personal social media account, we confirmed that Kim Na Young is taking legal action to part from her husband and will be on her own. We respect all of Kim Na Young’s decisions and will actively help her so that she can confidently stand before the public again as a TV personality after resolving the current situation. It’ll be difficult for the agency to officially confirm situations concerning her husband after today, and we ask for your understanding. We also ask that you refrain from making speculative articles and comments that may damage the reputation of her and her children.”

In November 2018, Kim Na Young’s husband was arrested for establishing a futures and options exchange business without the permission from the Financial Supervisory Commission and pocketing unfair profits of 20 billion won (approximately $17,898,700). At the time, Kim Na Young apologized, canceled her scheduled events, and halted her YouTube and social media accounts.

Kim Na Young wed the businessman in 2015 and gave birth to their first son the following year. She welcomed her second son in July 2018.
