Koo Hye-seon Forced to Quit Drama Due to Illness

ActressKoo Hye-seonabruptly quit her latest TV series,"You're Too Much", which started airing early this month.

With just a few episodes having been broadcast,Koo Hye-seonhas been forced to drop out due to ill health.

"Koo Hye-seonis currently hospitalized after developing a severe allergic reaction. She is in need of total rest and long-term care",Koo Hye-seon's agency YG Entertainment said Friday.

Koo Hye-seonwas diagnosed with anaphylaxis, a potentially life-threatening condition often triggered by allergens. Its symptoms include difficulty breathing, dizziness, nausea, and collapse.

She will be replaced in her role by actressJang Hee-jin.
