[ASKKPOP] Lee Hyori and 'It's Okay, That's Love' win 'Blue Media' awards

Beloved K-Pop starLee Hyoriand popularSBSdrama'It's Okay, That's Love'won awards at the 'Blue Media Awards', which was held at theKorean Broadcasting Instituteon December 11.



Lee Hyori was chosen as the winner of the 'Language Award'. The women's advocacy group explained, "Lee Hyori discusses difficult topics such as dating violence and body image issues onSBS''Magic Eye'using easy language. She changes the viewers' perspective and speaks honestly without being rough, gaining people's sympathy."


Meanwhile 'It's Okay, That's Love' won the 'Special Award'. The drama was honored at the ceremony for discussing a difficult topic, such as mental illnesses and handling it well and meaningfully.


Other award winners includeEBS' animated series'Jack and Pang', which won the 'Children's Award', andKBS 1TV's'Home Theater', which won the 'Family Award'.
