Lee Seung Giexplained why he wrote a handwritten letter to one of his fans.

In an interview withMBC‘s ‘Section TV‘ on January 25 he stated, “I’ve been supporting [those in need] for a long time and one of the girls sent me a letter. I was so touched by it, so I wrote a letter to encourage her“.

Since 2009, Lee Seung Gi has been working with theKBS‘ charity program ‘On-Site Report Going Together‘. He even provided his voice to the narration in the new year’s special.

According to the program, Lee Seung Gi has been helping out 201 families that have appeared on the show. He donated 100 million KRW (approximately $93,000 USD) in 2010, and also donated items he received from his CF appearances.
