Lee Hyori and YoonA put on a cover of Girls’ Generation’s “Genie” on the last episode of JTBC’s “Hyori’s Homestay 2.”


On the May 13 broadcast, Lee Hyori and YoonA headed to Mt. Halla with some of their guests. As they made their way down the mountain, the group stopped by a viewing platform to rest. Lee Hyori remarked, “Hey YoonA, shouldn’t we perform ‘Genie’ at least once here?” Lee Hyori had previously showed YoonA her dance cover of the Girls’ Generation song, revealing she had learned it at a neighborhood dance academy.

Lee Hyori and YoonA got ready to dance, with YoonA explaining the beginning of the choreography so they can match their steps. The guests turned on the music for Lee Hyori and YoonA and excitedly filmed the two as they began to dance. While Lee Hyori seemed nervous, she turned into a pro once the music started.

Lee Hyori and YoonA impressed everyone as they dance in sync. However, once they reached the chorus they started to dance freely as Lee Hyori only learned up to that part. Lee Hyori tried to go back to the choreography, but YoonA playfully made fun of her dancing, saying it’s similar to Lee Sang Soon’s usual dance move.


After they finished the song, Lee Hyori immediately checked their performance filmed by their guests. Lee Hyori seemed pleased, commenting, “It was worth learning it.”
