Leeteuk talks about dealing with depression and gives an inspirational speech

Super Junior'sLeeteuk's shocking reason for why he worked so hard is making fans and netizens feel sympathy for the singer.

On November 24, Leeteuk spoke at an event called,"There's No Hope without Despair,"where Leeteuk shared what had happened to his family and his financial situation.

Leeteuk recalled of a time back in January of 2014, when his father and grandparents passed away, saying,"While I was in the mandatory military service, I was struggling with depression, and I heard the news of thefamily death news; it was a very difficult period."

He also revealed the content of a note written by his father, whocommitted suicide after killing Leeteuk's grandparents. The note contained a line,"Do you think you succeeded alone?"-- a line that seemed to suggest that the father had resentment towards the singer.
