[ASKKPOP] Lovelyz tops real-time music chart for the first time with their new single!

Lovelyzdropped their refreshing new track, "For You," at midnight, and in a matter of hours, the song shot up to first place onMnet's real-time chart! What an achievement for a rookie girl group!

This marks the firstfirstfor the girls, an impressive feat considering that they are not only a rookie group but that they also surpassed other releases by bigger names in K-Pop includingPsyandZico. "For You" stayed at its top spot for for a total of two hours, from 6am to 8am, proving that it wasn't just luck which placed the group at first place.

Ryu Soo Jungdelivered her gratitude at the honor of placing first place even for a couple of hours, saying, "It's the first time we place first after debuting so I feel dazed and it hasn't fully hit us yet. We prepared really hard for 'For You' so thank you for showing it lots of love and as much as we began with a bang, we will continue to show our best throughout our promotions."
