MAMAMOO apologizes for the mistake they made toward Taemin
MAMAMOOmade a rather cute, negligible mistake on the March 13 airing of 'Inkigayo.'
The girls were taking home another win and in the midst of giving their acceptance speech whenSolarmistakenly mentionedTaeminin the process. However, Taemin wasn't even one of the nominees--JiminandTWICEwere the artists they had contended with for first place. In the clip above, Solar mentions Taemin between the 0:38~0:43 mark.
Upon hearing his name, Taemin just smiled at the girls politely, not wanting to rain on MAMAMOO's parade by correcting Solar's small mistake.
Thankfully, MAMAMOO realized the mistake they made and officially apologized to Taemin and his fans on Twitter. The girls wrote, "Amidst all the commotion, we said something that was disrespectful toward Taemin and his fans. We're sorry. We're also very sorry to Jimin, Xiumin, and TWICE. ㅜㅜ -From MAMAMOO-"
