[ASKKPOP] MBC & Music Core ban FIESTAR's performances and MV for 'One More' + FIESTAR to change suggestive lyrics

MBC has reportedly banned FIESTAR from performing "One More" on their programs for the time being following controversy arising over its sexually suggestive lyrics. This has prompted the girls and their agency to figure out new lyrics to replace their original.

According to broadcast insiders in an exclusive byIlgan Sports, MBC's variety and music show department sent out a notice which banned FIESTAR from performing on broadcast. The reasoning behind this ban is the lyrics of "One More" possibly alludes to having a 'threesome'. Although the song passed the initial reviews of the three major broadcast stations (SBS, MBC, andKBS) prior to their comeback, controversy arose with viewers sending in their complaints following the group's recent 'Music Core' stage.

An MBC rep told TV Report, "You will not be able to see FIESTAR's 'One More' stage on 'Music Core' as well as the broadcast of their MV [in its current state]... But it does not mean that we are restricting FIESTAR's appearance in general."

It has been reported that KBS and SBS reps are also in talks over whether to ban FIESTAR or not from performing on their music shows, etc at the moment.

The song 'One More' includes lyrics such as"You and me us two, invite someone who's done this more than us to our room, now is perfect one, two, three." Due to lyrics like these and the seductive music video, netizens have taken to portal sites to point out that the song seems to suggest wanting a threesome.

FIESTAR's agency rep toldTV Dailyon the 10th, "We received the notice from the 'Music Core' reps that it would be difficult for [FIESTAR] to promote their new song 'One More' on 'Music Core' due to its lyrics."

When asked if they will modify the lyrics to make it suitable for broadcast, the agency rep responded,"Because they are currently in the middle of promotions, it would be difficult [to makes modifications]. It is also not a matter of the word choice, but problems with the interpretation of them, so we are in talks over the issue. It is difficult to give a confirmation right now."

Another agency rep later toldJoy News 24that they are working on new lyrics for the song that we can expect to hear soon."The lyrics, which were inspired by the theme of a mobile game, unintentionally received misunderstanding... We are currently adjusting the lyrics and we will unveil the new lyrics soon."
