[ASKKPOP] MBC's 'Stargazing' to end its run + Super Junior to be the last guests

MBCvariety show 'Stargazing' has been cancelled due to low ratings and will be airing its last episode on September 18th.

According to an MBC representative, "Stargazing is to end with theSuper Juniorepisode on the 18th. We were planning on having two recording sessions, but we decided to just edit the parts that we have now and make this week the last week of the program."

The representative also commented, "The follow-up program has not yet been decided. On the 25th, the broadcasting for Incheon Asian Games will be airing."

'Stargazing' became a regular program back in June withKang Ho Dongas the main MC. The program strived to set a new talk-show template where celebrities and their fans could interact in person throughout the filming. But because they were up against competitive variety shows such as 'Happy Together 3' and 'Jagiya (Darling)', it was only able to gain an average of 3% viewer rating.

Current candidates for the follow-up programs to take over the time slot of 'Stargazing' are 'Hello Stranger', pilot series 'Once Around the Neighborhood', or 'Tutoring Different Generations'.

So make sure to catch the last broadcast of 'Stargazing' with Super Junior as the guests on the 18th! It's said the members appearing areLeeteuk, Kyuhyun, Shindong, Eunhyuk, andRyeowook.
