[ASKKPOP] 'Mix & Match's Yang Hong Seok signs with Cube Entertainment after leaving YG Entertainment

There were rumors of 'Mix & Match'sYang Hong Seokhavingleft YG Entertainmentback in March, and it seems they were indeed true. The former YG trainee has now signed withCube Entertainment, looking for a fresh start.



A report surfaced detailing his signing with his new agency, and Cube Entertainment spoke up to confirm that it's true. 


One rep told TVReport,"We have signed with Yang Hong Seok as a trainee. He's currently practicing hard. As for when he will debut, nothing has been decided on yet."


Yang Hong Seok had previously appeared on the survival show 'Mix & Match' and competed to earn a spot in YG's new boy groupiKON. However, he was not selected as part of the final lineup, and it seems he decided it may be better to start anew under a different agency.


If he is able to make his debut, this won't be the first time that a former YG trainee finds his success under Cube Entertainment, forB2ST'sHyunseungwas once a YG trainee who was training to be a part ofBig Bangbefore he was eliminated. He later signed with Cube and has made a name for himself as not only a member of B2ST but now also a soloist.


We hope to see Yang Hong Seok make his big debut soon!
