NCT 127 has made their first entry on the Billboard 200 chart with their album “Regular-Irregular”!


NCT127 (NSCT 127, SM Entertainment) has entered the 86th place on the Billboard 200 with the recently announced 'Regular-Irregular' album.

This is the second highest ranking after the Bulletin Boys' Billboard 200 first place. Earlier, Billboard 200 had K-pop stars such as Bulletproof Boys (No. 1 and No. 1), Exo (No. 87) and Big Bang (No. 150). The NCT127 was ranked 86th on the Billboard 200, so it is likely that it will climb to a higher position in the future. Billboard writes in an Internet version on Tuesday (October 22) that "NCT127's accomplishments made them record charts for the second-highest K pop group in the Billboard 200 record."

NCT 127 released its first full-length album 'NCT # 127 Regular-Irregular' on December 12th. It is an album of 11 tracks of various charms including 'Regular', the title track of the 'Latin Trap' genre. It was evaluated as having an organic texture and rich storytelling that reflects NCT's world view of communicating through 'dreams' and becoming one with 'music'. As soon as the album was released, it ranked No. 1 in the weekly charts of all kinds of music charts as well as No. 1 in the world total 22 charts in iTunes, album No. 1 in China, and number one in SBS MTV 'The Show'.

The NCT127 was driven to the brink of 'Regular-Irregular', making a decisive impression in the United States. According to Nielsen Music, downloading and streaming together sold about 8,000 copies until the 18th.

Billboard said, "They debuted at the 'Regular' title track in 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' before the release of the album, 'UP NEXT' (UPNEXT) with the first KPOP singer, and attending the American Music Awards (AMA) "The Seoul-based Lee Boy Group is proud to be able to create their own city and world-class fandom."
