NCT’s unit NCT Dream has earned their first No. 1 on a Korean realtime music chart and is charts all over the world

On September 3 at 6 p.m. KST, the unit released their second mini album “We Go Up” including the title track of the same name.

By 7 p.m. KST, the song was at No. 1 on the major real-time chart Bugs! “We Go Up” also grabbed NCT’s highest debut score on Korea’s largest music site Melon, coming in at No. 23. In addition, it achieved No. 12 on Genie and No. 18 on Soribada.

Shortly after the rankings were released, Renjun posted photos of Jisung tearing up over their achievement, and Jaemin giving him a big hug. He wrote as the caption with plenty of signs for laughter, “Jisung saw the music chart and cried. What a cute youngest member.”

As of 1 a.m. KST on September 4, “We Go Up” has risen to No. 19 on Melon, and remains at No. 1 on Bugs.

Within hours of its release on September 3, NCT Dream’s new mini album “We Go Up” hit No. 1 on various music charts across the globe. Not only did the mini album top several domestic daily album charts, but the title track “We Go Up” also won NCT Dream their very first No. 1 on a Korean real-time music chart.

Additionally, as of 9 a.m. KST on September 4, NCT Dream had taken first place on iTunes Top Album Charts in 12 different countries: Brazil, Chile, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Belarus, Malaysia, Vietnam, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and the Philippines.
