In an interview withHerald Corp, Nam Joo Hyuk first talked about his lack of expression and said, "I'm the son who does everything that my mom wants me to do, but can't seem to give her a hug [when I'm in front of her]. I express myself through text message, on the phone, or a card. I just can't show [my feelings] face to face."
