[ASKKPOP] Netizens spark interest with maps of varying country sizes to show current girl group popularity

Netizens onInstizhave released their take on girl group popularities at the current time by making a map in which the country size represents how popular each girl group is!

Especially in comparison to the one made in 2013, there are definitely some notable differences, such as the expanding territory of girl groups likeA Pink, Girl's Day, andAOAand the sizable shrinking ofGirls' Generation's land.

One netizen posted the first picture below in which it looks like A Pink and Girls' Generation's popularities appear very similar while Girl's Day is quickly catching up.  In addition,IU, who is the only solo artist featured, is shown as slightly less popular thanSISTAR, andAOAis catching up tof(x)'s popularity.

Another netizen seemed to have added onto this map with little islands and segments to feature lesser known idol groups and rookies likeMAMAMOO,Rainbow,Lovelyz,SONAMOO, etc.
