Nicole signs with B2M Entertainment

Nicole, the former member of girl groupKara, has signed a deal with B2M Entertainment with the aim of embarking on a solo singing career.

The agency said in a press release yesterday that "Nicoleand Gil Jong-hwa, the head of B2M, have known each other sinceNicolewas performing withKara".

Gil used to work for DSP Media,Nicole's former agency.

"Since Gil has knownNicolefor so long, he is the one who can give advice forNicolefor her future career and that is the reason she chose this company", said the agency.

B2M Entertainment is also home to sexy divaLee Hyori.

Nicole's comeback date has not yet been decided, but her new agency said she is preparing a solo album for now.

Nicolerefused to extend her contract with her former agency when she was a member ofKaraearlier this year, and she said she "needed some time to invest on her future" as the reason for walking away from the girl group.
