Onew wins new actor award and bursts into tears during acceptance speech

Onewwas recognized for his potential to become a good actor.

2016 Scene Stealer Festival was held at Jangchung Gymnasium at 6 PM on July 19th.

Each of the award winners was given one minute and thirty seconds on this day.

AfterOnewreceived the Scene Stealer - New Actor award for his role in KBS 2TV's 'Descendants of the Sun', he said, "It has been ten years since I debuted in the show business and 'Descendants of the Sun' was the first time for me to perform as an actor. I thought a lot whether or not I could be actually a scene stealer among all these great actors here. I believe this awesome award is all thanks to the great actor seniors who help me and led me".

He also said, "I actually cried a lot in the drama. So I didn't want to show me crying again here. But…" And thenOnewcould not continue his speech because he burst into tears and could not stop. As the limited one minute and thirty seconds ended quickly and he had to go down from the stage.

The emceePark Kyeong-rimcommented saying, "I'm not sure I should cry or laugh".

Scene Stealer Festival was established last year and this is their second annual festival. The award ceremony is to recognize the actors who showed off their strong screen presence through their most intense acting performances and earned the hearts of the drama fans and moviegoers.
