Since Wanna One’s contract ended on December 31, 2018, Park Ji Hoon has been establishing new ways to stay connected with fans, opening his official fan cafe, website, and Instagram account. And now, he also has his official Twitter account!
Park Ji Hoon paired the opening of his new Twitter account with a video announcing his official fan club name. Along with the opening of his official fan cafe, he had asked fans to submit potential options for his fan club name. The top choices were May, Memory, Wing.zip, Cherish, Jufiter, We-ty, Maeum (Heart), and Twiny. Before revealing his final decision, Park Ji Hoon decided to have a little fun and enlisted the help of his dog Max. Though things didn’t go quite as planned as Max had no interest in picking a name.
Finally, Park Ji Hoon revealed that his official fan club name will be May. The name not only refers to the fact that Park Ji Hoon’s birthday is on May 29, but it also refers to be verb, which expresses the possibility of something happening. This reflects both Park Ji Hoon’s unlimited potential and possibilities, as well as his fans’s determination to support him no matter where he goes.

Park Ji-hoon (Hangul: 박지훈, born May 29, 1999) is a South Korean singer and former child actor, who finished second in Produce 101 (season 2) and joined the K-pop band Wanna One.
Park Ji-hoon was born in Masan, South Korea.[ Although he comes from Gyeongsang Province, Park has lived in Seoul since he was seven years old.[3] He graduated from National Middle School of Traditional Arts, where he majored in musical theatre.[4] Park majored in broadcasting arts at School of Performing Arts Seoul and graduated in January 2018. Park was accepted into Chung-Ang University’s Department of Theater for 2018.[7]
