[ASKKPOP] Park Jung Hyun takes 1st place yet again on 'I Am A Singer'

MBC released three performances from the show for everyone to enjoy. One of the clips is forSweet Sorrow, who placed third, but gave a harmonic makeover toJo Yong Pil's hit song "Bounce". Prior to their performance, the group worried that they would taint the original song. However, Sweet Sorrow's performance received positive response from both the panelists on the show as well as the audience members.

Monni's clip was also released, who placed 5th this week. The band sangMiss Mister's "For You" and pledged that rather than setting a goal to win they will try to enjoy the stage as much as possible. Although the band gave a striking performance which included a balanced mix of both indie rock and mainstream band sounds, Monni was eliminated with the lowest combined score from this round and the first round.

Finally the in the third clip, vocalistPark Jung Hyuntouched the hearts of audience members with her powerful cover ofNell's "Thank You." Prior to her performance, park Jung Hyun said, "Unlike my image, I enjoy listening to rock." With her trademark way of hitting the high notes and outstanding delivery of the lyrics, Park Jung Hyun placed first.

Other contestants, whose performances have not yet been released, includedSo Chan Heein second place,Ha Dong Kyunin third,Wheesungin sixth, andYangpain 7th.
