Police investigating concertgoer who shouted gang slogan during TWICE's concert in Singapore
The police are investigating the audience ofTWICE's concert. On June 17, TWICE performed at the Singapore Indoor Stadium for their concert tour. A video from the event became controversial after a fan was heard shouting a gang slogan.
According to the Strait Times, in the controversial clip, a fan chants,"Sah lak kau,"or "369" in Hokkien during TWICE's performance.
The slogan belongs to the gangSio Kun Tong. The identity of the fan who shouted the slogan is unknown. However, the netizen who initially posted the video on Twitter claims the fan is his brother that used the gang slogan because he did not know the fan chant.
Despite the explanation, concerns grew on the use of the gang slogan. In response to the issue, the police have taken action and are looking into the incident.
