#PrayForKorea trends as Kim Jong Un declares 'quasi state of war' against South Korea

A day after North and South Koreaexchanged artillery fire, North Korean leaderKim Jong Unordered troops to be ready for combat, declaring a"quasi state of war"against South Korea.

According to North Korea's state media, Kim had a meeting after the shelling on Thursday, ordering his commanders and the military to have the troops prepared for battle.


"Commanders of the Korean People's Army were hastily dispatched to the front-line troops to command military operations to destroy psychological warfare tools if the enemy does not stop the propaganda broadcast within 48 hours and prepare against the enemy's possible counteractions,"the North's Korean Central Television reported.


North Korea stated that the deadline for the South to cease playing anti-North Korea broadcasts has passed and that they will launch an attack. The movement of military equipment toward the South Korean border has also been reported. North Korea warns saying,"This could be nuclear war".
