Prosecution demands 1 year jail sentence for DMTN's Daniel

The session took place earlier today, and Daniel's lawyer asked to conclude the trial, and the court accepted their request. Thus, the prosecution issued their demands for Daniel's sentencing.

After the prosecution spoke, Daniel's lawyer asked for leniency, commenting,"Choi Daniel was born and raised in the U.S. so his perception of marijuana is more relaxed, and also considering that he served as the intermediary for [the sale of marijuana] only among acquaintances, we ask for a suspended sentence."

Daniel himself spoke as well, saying,"I feel that I've caused harm to those around me and I'm sorry. Regarding the fact that I broke the law, I admit my wrongdoing and am deeply reflecting."

Daniel admitted to all themarijuana chargesincluding aiding in its distribution during the1st trialheld in April. He has been attending these hearings with the others involved since then, with the exception ofBiancawho fled the countryand still has yet to return.

However, as only his legal team has asked for the trial to be concluded, Daniel will still have to wait for the conclusion of the trials of the others involved before he can find out what kind of sentence the court will decide to issue him.
