Pyeongchang MV featuring Hyorin is possibly the most disliked music video of the year

An MV that's promoting the2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympicsis receiving major backlash from the public and experts alike.

The video, created by the Korean government, is titled"ARARI, YO"and featuresSISTAR'sHyorinas its main lead along with several other celebrities, mostly comedians. The storyline is that everyone gets infected by the 'happy virus' and begins to dance. The bizarre MV has a Korean comedian dressed up asConan O'Brien, people dancing as they're trying to eat a bowl of cold noodles, and poor Hyorin singing her heart out.

Unfortunately, many experts along with the general public are criticizing the MV for its poor quality, low-class taste, and confusing content. One expert stated,"It feels like a B-rated video, trying to copyPsy's"Gangnam Style"but without any humor and a confusing storyline."

The creators of the MV are defending it, saying,"The video is aimed at international viewers and is meant to be a part of a viral marketing; many foreigners have clicked thumbs up."
