Rookie Quartet Release Another Single After Brief Break

Black Pink

Rookie girl group Black Pink released a new single after taking a two-month break since their debut in August.

"Instead of fully taking a rest during the break, we spent almost two months preparing our new single while practicing songs and choreography as we wanted to perform on stage as early as possible", the four-member group said in a press event on Wednesday.

Managed by YG Entertainment, the multinational quartet including 2 members from overseas -- one from New Zealand and the other from Thailand -- went through four to six years of training before their debut.

Fans often compare Black Pick with another girl group2NE1, as both groups seem to share many things in common.

"Fans often say we are very similar to2NE1. That might be true because we were trained by the same management agency. We're simply happy by the fact that we are compared to them, but we will also work hard to show our own charms and be different", the group said.
