SEVENTEEN Confirms January Comeback Date

SEVENTEEN has officially confirmed their comeback date!

A source from Pledis Entertainment said, “SEVENTEEN will be making a comeback on [January] 21. We are currently in the last stages of working on the album and we are working hard to prepare well.”

Previously, SEVENTEEN pre-revealed their track “Getting Closer” and performed it at the 2018 MAMA. The group displayed a new, more edgy image through this stage.

“Getting Closer” features a strong drum sound with synth bass for a hip hop R&B feel. The track also includes an addictive hook.

Seventeen (Hangul: 세븐틴), also stylized as SEVENTEEN or SVT, is a South Korean boy group formed by Pledis Entertainment in 2015. The group consists of thirteen members divided into three sub-units, each with a different area of specialization: a 'Hip-Hop Unit', 'Vocal Unit', and 'Performance Unit'. Seventeen has released two studio albums and five extended plays.

Seventeen has earned a reputation as a "self-producing" idol group. From before their debut the group's members have been deeply involved in the songwriting and composition of their discography, alongside producer Bumzu
