[ASKKPOP] SISTAR expresses thoughts on gaining equal footing with Girls' Generation and 2NE1
SISTARstated that it was a great honor for their names to be rubbing shoulders with the likes of industry behemoths such asGirls' Generationand2NE1at the showcase for their new mini-album 'Shake It,' held recently at Seoul Gangnam District'sCOEX Artium.
When questioned about their thoughts on surmounting the insurmountable byplacing alongside Girls' Generation and 2NE1in the top tier onSports Chosun's girl group rankings, Dasom gushed, "It's such an honor. But we're not thinking about rising up by stepping down on our sunbaes."
She added, "Just asHiddinksaid 'We're still hungry,' SISTAR is still hungry, as well. Think of us as 'SIDDINK,'"drawing laughter. Dasom explained further with, "There are still so many things we want to do and achieve that we believe individual and team improvement comes first, rather than taking first place."
