[ASKKPOP] SM Entertainment assures fans Taeyeon is okay after her fall off stage

Earlier today, fans were alarmed and concerned when they found out thatTaeyeonhadfallen off stageduring the '2014 Seoul Music Awards' on January 22 due to the darkness blinding her from an unsafe part of the stage.  According to witnesses, she fell off a stage approximately 2 meters (~ 6.6 ft) high due to a lift having been operated without checking.

Afterwards, the dancers and fellow members rushed to help her up.  She was then treated on the spot with painkillers and returned home.

To further assure fans that she is all right,SM Entertainmentsaid, "Fortunately, she did not sustain any serious injury.  She was just told that there was some shock to her lower back muscle, so she received treatment for that and then went home.  We plan to consistently check Taeyeon's condition and make sure she doesn't overexert herself."

We hope Taeyeon is getting all the rest she needs to make a quick recovery!
