[ASKKPOP] SM Entertainment responds to questions about Sulli's absence in f(x)'s Baskin Robbins CF

f(x)recently filmed for their 'Baskin Robbins 31' CF, butSulliwas missing from the filming, once again leading to questions and speculations about whether Sulli is quitting the group.

MembersVictoria,Luna,Amber, andKrystalfilmed for the ice cream brand for their summer season 'bingsu' (shaved ice dessert) commercial. Their 'bingsu' song for Baskin Robbins is also set to be released this month.

Victoria documented their filming session with a few photos and videos from the set with the four members looking happy as can be. When fans noticedtheposts with all of the members except Sulli, questions began to arise about whether this means Sulli is no longer a part of the group. With Sulli carrying out individual activities lately, fans wondered if this was a sign that the idol will be promoting separately from now on.

A representative fromBR Koreaconfirmed that Sulli was not part of the CF, and explained, "Sulli was not part of the contract we signed. During the time we made the contract, Sulli was in the midst of a dating scandal withChoiza, and we discussed withSM Entertainmentthat we would proceed without Sulli."

SM Entertainmentalso responded to the rumors, by tellingStar News, "The reason why Sulli is not part of f(x)'s ice cream CF is because during the time the contract was made, Sulli was taking a break from promotions. There are no other reasons,"asking fans to not speculate.
