SM Entertainment, a subsidiary of NCT, announced on the 13th that its activities plan for the second half of 2018 will be released.

On August 13, SM Entertainment revealed their plans for the group’s upcoming promotions. In addition to announcing comebacks for both NCT Dream and NCT 127, the agency also confirmed that NCT’s long-awaited Chinese unit will be debuting before the year is out.

After releasing a mysterious graphic teaser at midnight, SM Entertainment shared a new version of the image that reveals its meaning. The graphic serves as an outline of NCT’s activities in 2018—after its ambitious “NCT 2018” project earlier this year, which featured all 18 members of the group and an album with six different title tracks, the next unit to make a comeback will be NCT Dream, followed by NCT 127.

NCT China, which SM Entertainment describes as a “working title” for the unit, is currently scheduled to debut sometime in 2018 after NCT Dream’s and NCT 127’s upcoming comebacks. SM Entertainment founder Lee Soo Man previously stated that the unit will consist of the group’s Chinese members and will focus on promotions in China.

NCT Dream, a unit composed entirely of teenage members, most recently made a comeback as part of the “NCT 2018” project in March. The group’s latest title track “Go” featured a more mature and rebellious image than their previous concepts, leading fans to wonder what lies in store for their next comeback.

Meanwhile, NCT 127 most recently made a comeback with the title track “Touch.”
