Se7en Responds To BTS’s J-Hope Mentioning Him During Speech At 2018 Asia Artist Awards

Singer Se7en says he’s now a fan of BTS!

BTS and Se7en were both performers and award winners at the 2018 Asia Artist Awards on November 28. When BTS won the Daesang (grand prize) that evening, J-Hope took the chance to personally thank Se7en.

He said, “When I was young, I saw Se7en’s ‘Passion’ and it made me feel passion and have dreams.” Se7en released a song titled “Passion” in 2004, which he performed at the 2018 Asia Artist Awards.

J-Hope continued, “I’d like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the many senior artists who made us dream.”

On November 29, Se7en posted a clip of J-Hope’s comments on his Instagram. He wrote, “Now I’m a fan of you all” and “BTS,” and added “congrats” in English with a thumbs up emoji.
