Sean becomes ‘Iron Man’ for patients suffering from Lou Gehrig’s disease

In July,Jinusean‘sSeanpromisedEunchongthat he would complete the triathlon for him.

Eunchong is a 10 year old boy who is suffering from 6 rare diseases. Sean has supported Eunchong many times in the past, attending sports events with him and running in races together. Back in July, he tweeted, “For Eunchong, for athlete Park Seung Il and for those suffering from Lou Gehrig’s disease, I’m going to try my hand at the triathlon.

He trained for the triathlon for three months, and finally completed the event on October 19th in 3 hours and 2 minutes. He tweeted, “1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling, and 10 km running. I completed the triathlon in 3 hours and 2 minutes. I kept my promise with Eunchong. And…. the promise I made with myself to donate 1000 KRW (approximately 0.91 USD) per 1m. I will be donating a total of 51.5 million KRW (approximately 47,000 USD) to build a children’s rehabilitation center.
