Songwriter Kim Eana addresses 'sexist lyric' controversy from a song she wrote for SHINee

What do you think about the lyric above? It's a line from a song called,"If you love her"offSHINee's new repackaged album '1 and 1.' It may seem like a simple line on the surface but some netizens are saying that women should not be compared to flowers because it contains a sexist idea. 


In response to their concerns,Kim Eana, the lyricist of the song, posted on her Instagram, saying,"Expression that says 'cherish her more than a flower', oops...Let's pay attention."
