Starship apologizes for trespassing into national landmark to film Cosmic Girls MV

There was controversy when news came out that an unnamed girl group and staff were under fire for trespassing into the Sinduri Beach and Dunes, a national landmark, to film a music video. Well,the secretis now out as it has been revealed that the unnamed girl group wasCosmic Girlsand the staff wasStarship Entertainment. Because of the controversy, Starship released a statement of apology.


Starship Entertainment stated, "First off, we want to apologize for the controversy that has come about due to our filming at the Sinduri Beach and Dunes."


The statement also read, "In addition, we believed we had received the ok from a third party production company that we hired for the MV filming and because this location was used numerous times for filming, we thought there would be no problem. However, after finding out that filming was not permitted, we made the filming crew cease filming and will not include this footage in the music video. Again, we apologize and we will make sure we don't create such issues again in the future."
