Sun Woo Sun, Reason for Leaving Crime Squad
Actress Sun Woo Sun is set to leave the drama Crime Squad after episode 7. The reason for her leaving the show as stated by her management company and the staff of the drama are different. What is the real reason?
One representative from the producing company of Crime Squad said “Sun Woo Sun will leave the drama after the 7th episode. She doesn’t appear anymore in the script either starting episode 8.”
“She was disappointed in her character since her role in the drama wasn’t too important, and so she did not appear in any of the press conferences by her own accord so we couldn’t do anything about her.”
However, Sun Woo Sun’s management company said that she only appeared on the show as a friendship appearance. She was set to only appear on the drama for a few episodes since the start.
Her management company continued, “She was set to leave the show around episodes 4 and 5 but her role was increased and so she had to continue until episode 7. If the amount of her role was a problem, she probably wouldn’t have acted in the drama in the first place.”
