Sunmi Reveals Her First World Tour Dates And Cities

Sunmi is holding her first-ever world tour!

On January 16, MAKEUS Entertainment released a teaser poster for Sunmi’s upcoming tour “Warning” via official social media accounts, revealing the first 12 cities and dates for North America and Asia.

The tour will kick off in Seoul on February 24 at YES24 Live Hall. It will then move onto North America in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver, Calgary, New York, Toronto, and Washington D.C. in March.

Afterwards, Sunmi will come back to Asia for more concerts in Hong Kong, Taipei, and Tokyo in April and May. The poster also hints at more tour dates and cities with the statement “and more.”

Lee Sun-mi[1] (born May 2, 1992), known mononymously as Sunmi, is a South Korean singer. She debuted in 2007 as a member of South Korean girl group Wonder Girls and left the group in January 2010 to pursue her academic career. After a three year hiatus from the music scene, Sunmi resumed her career as a soloist in August 2013 with her first digital single, "24 Hours".

It peaked at number two on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart and number three on Billboard's Korea K-pop Hot 100. Her debut extended play, Full Moon (2014), charted at number twelve and its lead single charted at number two on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart and number three on Billboard's Korea K-pop Hot 100, also charted at number thirteen on Billboard World Digital Chart.

In 2015, Wonder Girls returned to the music scene after a two year hiatus with a new band formation, Sunmi was also confirmed to be re-joining the group after her departure in 2010. The group later disbanded in 2017 after she and Yeeun decided not to renew their contracts with JYP Entertainment.
