Super Junior to comeback with new album later this year

There seems to be yet another reason to look forward to K-pop in 2017.  It has been reported that legendary K-pop boy group,Super Junioris expected to return after a two-year hiatus with a new album this year.


Earlier today, media outletStar Newsreported that Super Junior is preparing for the release of a new album during the second half of the year.  Once memberChoi Siwonconcludes his military services in mid-August, the group is planning to return with an album before the year ends.


As of now, Super Junior membersLeeteuk, Kim Heechul, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong,andSungminall have completed their military duties, withEunhyukand Siwon being discharged in July and August respectively.


Most recently,Ryeowook entered the armyentered the army last October and is scheduled to complete his duties in 2018.  While Kyuhyun will be going in later this year.  Nonetheless, the group's main motive in getting together in the second half of this year is to release their new album.


In addition, Super Junior released a special album titled 'Magic' in September 2015 to commemorate their 10th anniversary since their debut a decade ago.  It will be two years since the group reunites with their beloved fans.


Since their debut in 2005, Super Junior has received a lot of attention both in Korea and overseas.  Each of the members have expressed their own talents as variety show MCs, actors, musical performers, as well as solo singers.


Fans will indeed be anticipating the group's comeback this year.
