Super Junior has clearly impressed the President of Indonesia

On September 10, the group’s official Twitter shared photos of the group with Indonesian President Joko Widodo. The photos show the members posing with the president and first lady Iriana Widodo, as well as an autographed copy of their 8th repackaged album “Replay.” The caption reads, “Super Junior and Indonesian President Joko Widodo meet! President Joko Widodo spared no words of praise and encouragement for Super Junior’s performance for the 2018 Asian Games closing ceremony. This is what we call ‘Super Junior Diplomacy.'”

The Indonesian president first spoke with Korean president Moon Jae In at an official welcoming ceremony in the morning, where he revealed that he has attended Super Junior's concert in Jakarta twice because his daughter is a big fan! Afterward, the president met with Super Junior in person, taking photos, receiving signed CDs, and more.

President Joko Widodo also stated during his conversation with president Moon Jae In, "We hope that many Korean brands such as LotteCJSM, and more branch out to Indonesia."
