[ASKKPOP] 'The baddest female' idols of them all

We're seeing an overwhelming amount of comebacks from our favorite girl groups. It's definitely the summer season that calls for the fresh, cute, bubbly and even sexy looks. But in the midst of all this, I personally wanna ask,"where ma bad girls at?"

"Not bad meaning bad, but bad meaning good, you know?"- in the words ofCL

I'm going to break this down into two categories: the queens and the princesses.

Let's start with the badass Princesses

Hwa Saof MAMAMOO

She's barely a rookie in the scene, but the reason I put her up here is because she has the potential of one day being one of the badies at the top. Why you ask? It's all in her eyes, expressions and attitude. Plus, she told her CEO she won't go on a diet 'cause she doesn't believe she needs to lose weight. You tell 'em girl.

LEof EXID

As EXID continues to rise in popularity, so does LE's rapping skills. One can tell rapping comes naturally to her, just watch the fancam below. She's comfortable in her own skin and carries herself charismatically.

Jiyeonof T-ara

It's something about Jiyeon's attitude that always made me think she's a fellow badass. Even in an upbeat and lively song like T-ara's famous "Roly Poly," she's the only one who would keep this "don't mess with me" look while the others would showcase their cute and cheerful expressions.

Minof miss A

"You don't know me, so shut up boy, so shut up boy,"said Min when she first debuted, and people believed her. She's the dancer, rapper, and singer who can split her legs to a 180 degree angle standing, and always wears her hair short. We need to see more "Bad Girl, Good Girl" concepts on her.

HyunAof 4minute

Admit it, you were expecting her sooner or later. Once labeled as futureLee Hyori, HyunA is considered a sexy icon in South Korea. She gives off that bad girl aura with her tanned skin, arched eyebrows, and cat eye-liner.

& time for our badass Queens

Jessi

Up first, we got our "unpretty rapstar," Queen Jessi. Repping hip hop and a whole bunch of swag, she's been in the game for quite a while despite her recent burst of popularity. Male rappersSan EandZicobothadmitted they were quite intimidatedby miss Jessi Ho. Can't blame them! Just click play below.

Kahi

Known for chasing her dream to be a singer, at age 32, she became the leader ofAfter Schooland received wide-spread recognition for her talents. Kahi hasalwaysbeen fierce. She sings,"I'm so bad girl, I'm so cool girl, I'm so sexy sexy sexy girl,"and I believe her whole heartedly. When a female idol throws on business slacks with a blazer and still showcases her hard abs: #womancrush.

Miryo

Do I even have to explain here? I'm not kidding guys, but the first time I've ever seen Miryo of Brown Eyed Girls was when she was rapping in their MV"How Come"while holding a pistol... Yes, a gun in her hand. Honestly, all the members of B.E.G. slay, but Miryo does so in a way that's so natural, it never seems like she's even trying. Am I right or am I right?

CL

Aninterviewer once asked her,"Where does all this confidence come from?"She said,"It's fromloving yourself."When asked if she ever worried about what other people thought about her she said,"It was in 2011 and everybody was trying to put me down because of my confidence . . . I was struggling for a while but you live once and you can only be you. I want tosay what I want to sayanddo what I wanna do." That's all I really wanted to share about her, 'cause y'all know the rest. #GZB #baddestfemale

Lee Hyori

It'sLee. Hyo. Ri.In case you don't know (which I doubt), Lee Hyori has been in the business, being the badass female for 10 years and counting. Some people would call her rude at times, but I call it being blunt and outspoken. She's not afraid to speak her mind, and has always been honest with her fans and the public. After reminding us she's still a "bad girl" with her comeback single,"Bad Girls,"she's truly a queen.
