Tough episode for Wheesung

SingerWheesung, who was discharged from the military in August, showed off his vocal abilities on JTBC's "Hidden Singer 2" on Saturday, winning the episode.

The singing competition pits veteran singers against amateur singers, who imitate professional vocalists from behind a curtain. Meanwhile, judges and the audience must decide who the real singer is.

Wheesunghad a shaky second round, only receiving 22 votes, though his unique and soulful voice came to his rescue later when he performed "I Even Thought of Marriage". He ultimately won the show, winning back the audience in the final round.

One ofWheesung's imposters on the show, Kim Jin-ho may, is allegedly in talks to join trot singer Tae Jin-ah's entertainment agency Jin Ah Productions, to whichWheesungbelongs.

"When I heard him [Kim] singing, I couldn't tell whether it was the realWheesung", said Tae, who was on the show's panel of judges. "Shouldn't he become a professional singer?"
