According to data released by theKorean Film Counciland distributorShowboxon August 21, 'Tunnel' amassed a total of 5,000,338 people (as of 5:30 p.m. KST on Aug. 21) to theaters! The 5 million mark was reached just a little under two weeks, as the movie premiered on August 10.
