Uhm Jung-hwa gets sexier than ever

Uhm Jung-hwahas starred in a few racy films over the years. But at a press screening of "The Law of Pleasures" on Tuesday, the actress and singer revealed that the scenes in her latest movie were some of her boldest yet.

"The actual time for shooting was much longer than what's shown on the screen", said Uhm. "I was aware that some sex scenes are needed, as the title of the film shows. But it's true that I felt kind of overwhelmed, so I talked with the director to adjust the level".

Uhm plays a successful career woman (sometimes derided as "miss gold" in Korean) who falls in love with a younger man.

The movie also stars one of Korea's most respected actresses,Moon So-ri, who plays a provocative housewife, andJo Min-soo, who rose to fame inKim Ki-duk's award-winning film"Pieta"and plays a single mom who tries to keep her love life secret from her daughter.

Directed byKwon Chil-in, who directed such relationship-based hits as "Hellcats" (2007) and"Singles"(2004), "The Law of Pleasures" has become hotly anticipated for its provocative and humorous style, like the popular American TV series "Sex and the City".

The movie is set to open Feb. 13.
