[ASKKPOP] Up-and-coming star Park Seo Joon reveals more on his feature film with 'Elle'

Fashion magazineElleunveiled a photo shoot of actorPark Seo Joonalong with an interview that detailed the behind-the-scenes story of his casting for 'The Chronicles of Evil', which premiered on May 14. The set for the photo shoot was at a rental studio in Seoul's Sungsoo-dong and a motorcycle was rented to star alongside the actor, in honor of the detective role he portrayed in the film.

In 'The Chronicles of Evil', Park is a nascent investigator who has conflicting feelings for his accomplished superior Choi Chang-sik (played bySon Hyun Joo), who he believes is the primary suspect in a highly publicized homicide case.

"I decided to star in the film as I was looking for a role at the time and because the script drew me in," the actor explained. Park Seo Joon's more serious side will be presented in the feature film in contrast to the characters he played in romantic comedy dramas. The actor further elaborated that his drama characters, which are typically laid-back and full of aegyo, can only be invented when the camera lights are on.

"Truthfully, I am terse so I talk even less when I'm around close acquaintances," says the actor, and he also confesses that he can be a bit careless when his guard is down. Park Seo Joon is ever the humble actor with his closing remark of, "The audience is much smarter than I am, so I always have to try my hardest."
