[ASKKPOP] WINNER's Kim Jin Woo to fall in love in upcoming production, 'Magic Cell Phone'

Even thoughWINNERdebuted a year ago, we hadn't seen much of the good lookingKim Jin Wooin individual activities. But that's about to change. He's taking on an acting gig as a lead character!

Kim Jin Woo has been cast in the drama 'Magic Cell Phone'. Despite the fact that he's not had much experience with acting, he's been given the opportunity to take the lead role alongside actressPark Min Ji.

The drama is a joint Korean-Chinese production, for a total of 5 parts. His fellow memberNam Tae Hyun was castin the first part of the production, 'Under the Black Moonlight', and Kim Jin Woo will be starring in the second part.

As for the storyline? It'll revolve around the romance between an ordinary guy (Kim Jin Woo) and a girl group member (Park Min Ji).

The drama begins filming in mid-August and is set to air in the fall!
