Who were the most popular idols this year among young Koreans?


Gallupreleased the annual survey result for 2016 for teens and those in their 20s to find out which idol stars they liked the most.


Girls' GenerationTaeyeontopped the list with11.8%of votes; more male voters liked the singer than female voters, but she still ranked number one in both genders.

IU, who was number one last year, is second place this year with6.6%of votes.Tzuyufollowed closely with6.3%. IU was preferred more by male teens (11.4%) and Tzuyu was liked more by men in their 20s (8.6%).
