[ASKKPOP] Who would best fill the roles in 'My Sassy Girl's drama remake?

If you haven't heard, the highly sensational rom-com movie 'My Sassy Girl' is going to be remade into a dramaand the production crew reported that they will start filming soon.

The cast for 'My Sassy Girl' drama version has not yet been revealed so we went ahead and picked four female and male actors who we thought had potential to take the lead.

In the movie, 'The Girl,' the sassy 4-dimensional female lead, was played byJun Ji Hyun, an nearly irreplaceable actress. Here are our top four female actresses who have the potential to take on the role of 'The Girl' in the drama remake:

Suzy

Though Suzy is still considered as a rookie idol-actress, and her acting has been rated as sub-par for the most part, I thought that her role as Jang Mari in 'Big' was somewhat similar to the personalities of "The Girl." Jang Mari was sassy, obnoxious, yet undeniably beautiful and attractive similar to that of "The Girl" in 'My Sassy Girl'.

Go Ara

We already know how beautiful Go Ara is and we've already seen her in multiple dramas, especially 'Reply 1994,' where she proved that she isn't afraid to let herself go and immerse herself completely in a role. Though she doesn't have the charisma and aura that Jun Ji Hyun has, Go Ara is a solid actress who has depth to her acting.

Han Hyo Joo

This actress isn't necessarily known for her acting, and I never thought that she was spectacular even in her most renown role in 'Shining Inheritance.' But after seeing her in the movie 'Love 911' with Go Soo, it gets much easier to accept the fact that she has potential to be an awesome lead in a rom com.

Lee Sung Kyung

She may be a rookie actress that hasn't been in a lot of works, but she's got the potential to become a star. You will see what I mean when you watch 'Cheese In the Trap,' in which she takes on an overly dramatic, high-strung, and slightly comical role. If she just toned that down a little bit and added a touch of a sensitive, hurt soul with a grief-stricken past, then she just might be the right person for the drama remake.

Gyeon Woo, played byCha Tae Hyunin the film, is a male engineering student who only finds interest in meeting girls. Throughout the film, he is portrayed as someone who is easily pushed around, especially by "The Girl." Here are our top four male actors who have the potential to take on the role of Gyeon Woo in the drama remake:

Song Joong Ki

A phenomenal actor who has already a few big hits under his belt, Song Joong Ki briefly showcased a submissive side in the beginning of 'Nice Guy.' He was also somewhat comical in 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal,' which showed potential in playing the role of Gyeon Woo.

Kang Ha Neul

Have you seen this guy act? Kang Ha Neul started his career as a musical actor and built a pretty solid acting path and his role as Jang Baek Gi from 'Misaeng' helped him reach the peak. His role in the film 'Twenty' also reminded me much of Gyeon Woo.

Junho

2PM's Junho first made his appearance on the big screen in 'Cold Eyes' and then gained even more attention in hilarious coming-of-age film 'Twenty.' He was ridiculously funny and surprisingly natural in his acting. Though the lead role may be too much for this rookie actor to handle, it'll become a good stepping stone in his acting career.

Yoochun

Yoochun undeniably possesses a gentlemanly image that he has proved time and time again in dramas. So it'd be even more interesting to see him play a character that is entirely dorky and quirky, especially considering that that's how he is in real life! All he needs to do is bring his true persona to the screen and we've got a great Gyeon Woo part 2 in the works. Unfortunately, he will be in the military while filming commences.
