On January 8, YG shared their current progress on the legal action they have taken. After Yang Hyun Suk declared they would be taking a strict stance against malicious commenters, YG Entertainment has taken on the policy of firmly resolving the damage done to their artists by strongly punishing those spreading falsehood and posting malicious comments.

The agency revealed, “Currently, we have discovered that the suspects are not underage but are mostly people who are between the ages of 20 to 30,” and added, “Among the suspects, there is a suspect who denied the allegations during the police investigation stage after personally admitting to having posted multiple malicious comments.”

Including those that have already been indicted, there are currently four cases that have been or are expected to be forwarded to the prosecution. Numerous other cases are in the final stages of investigation.
