Yang Hyun Suk caught doing another illegal activity with his buildings

Previously,Yang Hyun Sukwas caught forillegally extending his buildingwithout permission, hence violating a building code.  Now, he's been caught for yet another illegal activity regarding one of his buildings, this time for altering the purpose of the building without the proper procedure (for example, taking an office building and using it as a restaurant).

On August 2, a rep from the Mapo-gu construction office stated,"Yang Hyun Suk changed the usage of one of the six stories in a building he owns in Hapjeong-dong, Seoul without the permission of the borough."

According to the rep, the first floor is used for a cafeteria, the second floor for a fitness center, and the third floor for photo studios.  The rest of the floors are used for housing purposes.  However, the Mapo-gu office confirmed that that the third floor was being used for housing rather than for photography.  The rep stated,"The fourth to sixth floors are being used by the owner as residence, but the third floor, which has illegally been repurposed, seems to be under the use of another person." Apparently, he is housing somebody else in a space that should be used as a studio.

Before imposing a levy, the office plans to send a letter of notification to Yang Hyun Suk, giving him 90 days to rectify the situation or else be fined.
